Wine Tours Overview

We provide Wine Tours in the Bergerac and Duras Wine Region visiting organic and biodynamic wineries. The usual wine tour would take you to a winery visit with tasting in the morning( pick up and drop off at your accommodation), followed by a lunch and another winery visit and tasting in the afternoon. The tour would be for 4 to 8 participants and can be customized. We provide these tours throughout the year. We would require a week notice.

With wines of high quality and very close in style to the wines from Bordeaux (the right bank and St.Emilion particularly) there are many exciting treasures to be found. In most blends Merlot is usually predominant (due to the soil composition in this region which is mostly clay and limestone with some exceptions) combined with Cabernet Sauvignon,Cabernet Franc and Malbec, . For white wines ( Dry, Sweet and Semi Sweet) the main varieties are Sauvignon Blanc,Sémillon and Muscadelle.
